It works with what you have: No need to buy new cameras. If you have IP cameras and a Windows PC, you are ready.

Real-Time Speed: Our hybrid approach (desktop app bridges to cloud AI) means alerts are delivered in under 5 seconds depending on internet connection.

Privacy by Design: This is critical for global compliance. We do not store your 24/7 video streams. The desktop app sends the stream to the cloud for real-time detection only. We only store the 5-second video snippets of confirmed detection events in our secure database to send to you.

Regional Data Sovereignty: For our global clients, data is processed regionally. European data stays on European servers and so on, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Tutorial: Setting Up Your AI Shoplifting Detection

Getting started is incredibly straightforward. Here is how to transform your security operation in four steps.

Prerequisites

  • A Windows PC (laptop or desktop).
  • Your existing CCTV IP cameras.
  • Important: Ensure both the Windows PC running our software and your CCTV cameras are connected to the same Wi-Fi or local network.

Step 1: Installation and Login

Download and run the Bazaar Suraksha executable (.exe) file on your Windows machine. Once launched, you will be greeted with a secure login screen. Enter the username and password provided during your onboarding.


Step 2: Connecting Your Cameras

Once logged in, navigate to the "Add Cam" menu item. We offer two ways to integrate your video feed:

  • Auto-Scan (Recommended): Use our network scanning tool to automatically find IP cameras located on your local network.
  • Manual Add: If you have specific network configurations, you can manually input the camera's IP address, port, username, and password.


Step 3: Configuring the AI Dashboard

After adding your cameras, they will appear in your main dashboard list.

Select Streams: Simply select the specific camera streams you want the AI to monitor for shoplifting behavior. They will immediately become visible on your dashboard.

Check Connectivity: Look for the "Cloud Connected" indicator on the dashboard. If this is not active, please check your internet connection, as the cloud is required for processing detections.

Adjust Sensitivity: Every store environment is different. Use the slider control located at the top right corner to adjust the AI model's sensitivity. You can tune it to balance between maximum detection capability and minimizing false positives in crowded aisles.

Step 4: Receiving Real-Time Alerts

Once configured, the system is live. The desktop app continuously sends the selected streams to our cloud AI for analysis.

When shoplifting is detected, the system triggers instantly (typically <5 seconds). You will receive alerts in two ways simultaneously:

Desktop Notification: An immediate pop-up alert on the PC running the software, accompanied by the relevant video snippet.

WhatsApp Alert: The store owner or designated LPO receives an instant WhatsApp message containing:

  • The camera name.
  • Date and timestamp.
  • A 5-second video snippet showing the exact moment of the detected theft.

This allows your on-floor security team to intercept the suspect immediately, with video evidence on their phone before the suspect leaves the store.
