Shoplifting is a major concern for retailers, impacting profits and creating an unsafe environment. Traditional CCTV systems are passive; they only record evidence. At Neuronetic Vision, we believe in active prevention.
That's why we built Bazaar Suraksha, an Android app that uses powerful AI to monitor your existing CCTV feeds in real-time. It detects potential shoplifting events as they happen and alerts you instantly.
This guide will walk you through setting up the app from start to finish.
What You'll Need
- The Bazaar Suraksha app (Download it from the Google Play Store).
- Your store's Wi-Fi connection.
- The IP address and login details for your CCTV cameras.

Step 1: Get Started (Login or Sign Up)
First, open the app. You'll be greeted with two options:
- Sign Up: If you're a new user, tap this to create your account.
- Log In: If you already have an account, simply enter your credentials.

Step 2: Connect Your CCTV Cameras
This is where you link your existing cameras to our AI.
After logging in, navigate to the 'Add Cam' screen.
You will need to enter the specific details for each camera you want to add.
- IP Address: The local network address of your camera (e.g., 192.168.1.109).
- Port: The camera's RTSP port. The default is typically 554.
- Camera Name: Give your camera an easy-to-remember name (e.g., "Front Entrance" or "Aisle 2").
- Username: Your camera's administrative username (a common default is admin).
- Password: Your camera's password (a common default is admin@123).
Step 3: Select Your Streams
Once you've added your cameras, the app will show you a preview of each feed.
- Select the cameras you wish to monitor on your main dashboard.
- Note: The current version of Bazaar Suraksha supports active monitoring for up to 4 camera streams at one time.

Step 4: The Dashboard (Your Live View)
The Dashboard is your central hub. It displays the live feeds from all the cameras you selected.
To customize your view, use the icon in the top-right corner. This allows you to toggle between:
- Grid View: See all 4 streams in a compact grid.
- List View: See a larger, single-camera feed at a time.
Step 5: Fine-Tune the AI Sensitivity
Every store environment is different. You can adjust the AI's sensitivity to match your needs.
Tap the icon in the top-left corner of the dashboard.
A sensitivity slider will appear at the bottom of the screen.
How to adjust it:
- If the AI is missing detections: Lower the slider value slightly to make the AI more sensitive.
- If you are getting too many false alerts: Raise the slider value to make the AI less sensitive.

Step 6: Receive Instant Alerts
You don't have to watch the screens 24/7. That's the AI's job.
As soon as the system detects a potential shoplifting event, you will receive an immediate push notification on your phone. This alert includes a snapshot image of the event, allowing you to assess the situation and act quickly.
Step 7: Review Past Events
Need to check the records?
- Navigate to the 'Alerts' screen.
- Here, you'll find a complete log of all detected events. Each alert shows the camera name, the exact time, and the image snippet for your review.
Step 8: Manage Your Profile
The 'Profile' section contains all your account information. From here, you can:
- View and edit your name, number, and email.
- Manage or upgrade your subscription plan.
- Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Find details to Contact Support if you need any help.
And that's it! You've successfully turned your passive security system into an active, intelligent loss prevention solution.
